Drumming Classes and Events

Drumming classes, events,
and virtual programs

A hand drumming class or event is a great way for your group, company, or family to beat stress and have some fun! These are just fun classes with some therapeutic elements thrown in, not drum therapy sessions, which go deeper. We always close out with a rockin’ tune that fits the age group or event!

Hand drums are provided for in-person classes and events. Social distancing will be observed. Drums are always disinfected!

For virtual classes and events: You can just tap on your legs, your desk, a drum pad, or whatever you have handy. You’ll learn easy beats and rhythms and fun exercises to help you focus and reduce anxiety and stress, while boosting healing and your immune system. Some mentoring, encouragement, affirmations, and fun homework assignments will be included. I offer different themes at different times. Contact me if you’d like to set something up for your group or organization!

Corporate events: Drumming is a great ice-breaker activity! It’s also a great addition to a company’s health and wellness offerings, or as a team-building activity and can be delivered virtually or in-person. Virtual participants can drum on their legs, their desk, or a book.

Churches: Wellness and empowerment programs from a Christian perspective. Classes or workshops can be combined with a theme, a talk or with scripture references. Great motivation, encouragement, and fun for church groups, retreats, or conferences.

Non-profits: Classes, workshops, or special events. Great for stress relief, wellness, empowerment, and for at-risk populations. Motivational talk and/or drumming. Also have a virtual drum ministry training program. Presently seeking sponsors to help fund some of these programs or for individual scholarships. Contact me if interested.

*Events vary in length from 30-60 minutes and generally cost $350 and up, depending on the size of the group, type of program, and distance traveled.

Drum Ministry at Evangel Church

Healing Rhythms (Ages 18 and up): FREE!
Every fourth Monday of the month (except Dec.), from 2-3pm at Evangel Church, Fuquay-Varina. Connect with the heartbeat of God! Thoughtful discussion + drumming for wellness. Learn easy drumming exercises and activities that are science-based, Holy Spirit-led, and loads of fun! Hand drums are provided. This program is coming from a Christian perspective but people of all faiths are welcome. Seating is limited, so contact me if interested. Donations graciously accepted.

Private drum healing sessions: FREE!
This is a personal wellness experience. In a drum healing session, you sit and I drum for you and around you, using different hand drums and other instruments to promote healing. This is similar to sound healing, except it’s with drums and guided by the Holy Spirit. The sessions are short (15-20 min. or so) but very powerful. Contact me if interested and we’ll select a day and time.

For private events and sessions (either virtual or at your location): Contact me at for more info. I am also an approved provider with Alliance Health and NC-SEAA, if funds are an issue for any of my services.
