Did you know that therapeutic drumming can help you release and gain clarity? It not only reduces stress but it can help you break free from whatever is holding you back.
A woman I’ll call Tania signed on for my private drum therapy program. She was juggling a lot of plates in her business and was feeling stressed out.
As we began to drum together and do some of my creative exercises, it became apparent that there were a lot of underlying issues that were affecting her performance, her mindset, and her stress levels. And they went way back.
Drumming and my guided exercises helped her release those feelings. She needed to forgive herself and also to ditch the negative conversations that were playing out in her head from long ago. Yes, my form of therapeutic drumming can do that and more. I add in a lot of insight, mentoring, and affirmations.

I recently did an inspirational speaking and drumming event at my church. It was open to the women’s group, as well as women from the community. I didn’t exactly stick to my script and some of the drumming activities weren’t planned. When this happens, I know it’s Holy Spirit led and it’s because that’s what the group needed.
After I read the review cards I left on the table and the emails I received, I realized that the shift I prayed for for so long was finally happening. I first needed to accept the call to fully release the healing power of drumming and then to step out and do an event. And then, a shift came to these women. I needed to honor my gifts and my calling – and then release.
I am no longer worried that my kids’ classes seem to be phasing out. I think it’s time for me to help women Rise Up & Rock. Get ready!
