Fall, Focusing, and Frequencies
We’re nearing the end of year. Are you where you thought you’d be at this point? Or are you suffering from a little “Entrepreneurial ADD”? If things feel a bit off, read on.
If you live in an area where the leaves change, go outside. Sit for a bit and just take it all in. On a typical fall day, the leaves fall in slow motion. That’s your cue to slow down!
Take a break from your never ending to-do list and from social media. Ask yourself “What’s most important right now?” It might be to take the afternoon off, spend time with family and friends, or just go and sit in nature for a bit. The world won’t come to an end if you don’t post on social media today or do the 30 things you put on your to-do list!
Take a breath! Instead of focusing on what’s wrong in your life, focus on what’s right. It may be that you don’t have to totally scrap your dreams and plans, you just might need to do things a bit differently. What is the Holy Spirit telling you? Write that down!
Tap out some beats! You’ve heard me say this a million times but even just doing some fast beats on your legs while taking some deep breaths helps. Here’s a video to help you release and relax. But wait! There’s more!
Facts and frequencies
Did you know that the human body emits a frequency? When your frequency drops, that’s usually because there is some type of illness setting in. You’ll feel more tired and sluggish. It’s the same for those who are suffering from depression. In fact, every organ of the body vibrates at a different frequency.
If you’re feeling off, you need to change your frequency. How do you do that? You can either listen to frequency-based music (I prefer instrumental “soaking music” on YouTube or Spotify or WholeTones* by Michael Tyrrell, which is a paid program.) or you can actually use different instruments.
In the past several years, I have been studying the effects of certain frequencies and implementing different techniques and instruments, depending on what the client or group needs. In the case of one young client, this reduced her seizures in half right after the session where I added a different instrument! This was completely God’s idea!
What happened? We changed her frequency. Backed by science. Guided by the Holy Spirit. While there are no guarantees of healing, I find this interesting nonetheless. And yes, drum therapy was recommended by this client’s neurologist.
What does this have to do with fall?
Fall signals change and things you need to let go of. Maybe it’s things you’re doing or holding onto. Maybe it’s things that you need to open your mind to and embrace.
If you shift your rhythm, you can shift your frequency, and you can shift your life!
