How to Focus and Finish Strong
It’s almost Christmas! We’re coming down the home stretch! If you haven’t reached your goals yet, hang on! I have some tips for creatives, entrepreneurs, anyone who wants to finish the year strong.
Guiding the sleigh
Even Santa needs a game plan. He’s got the list, he’s checked it twice, and he’s got the reindeer ready. However, someone still needs to guide the sleigh to get the job done.
What’s needed is the ability to do these three things:
1) Focus
2) Filter out distractions
3) Finish strong!
In this funny video, I demonstrate what happens when you try to do too many things at once and how easy it is to get off track. Take a peek:
What I also learned was how to:
1) Simplify and streamline things. It really helps if you have an easy, repeatable process for your tasks. That’s why all of my drum therapy sessions and classes start with the same 3 or 4 exercises.
2) Use tools that will make things faster and easier. Thank you AWeber and Canva!
3) Ask for help. Determine what’s important and what your time is worth.
