Tempo Changes
Are you feeling a shift in the atmosphere? I’m not talking about the entrance of fall and all things pumpkin spice! I’m talking shifts that may change your business, career, ministry, or your life.
You may have experienced a sudden slowdown or feeling completely overwhelmed or stuck in the past several months. You may have thought you did something wrong. Take heart, my friend, and read on.
When the tempo shifts
Have you ever heard a tune that is really upbeat and then it hits a spot where things just stop? I joke with my drum students that’s when the drummer in the band sits back and takes a sip of water. He or she has to get ready though, because the tempo changes and usually something fancy gets added in suddenly.
This new season will call for some new experiences and new ways to use your skills. So, here’s my message and tips for you today:
- Get quiet and get clear (lightly tapping a drum helps!)
- Remember your vision and your “why.”
- Get in position.
- Get ready to move and take a leap of faith.
- Get ready for your “suddenly.”
- And watch what happens next!
What will the new season bring?
Sometimes things suddenly shift when you stop and take breath. In fact, someone contacted me out of the blue asking if I could create a drum ministry program for her to use for her organization. Keep in mind, this idea was dropped on me years ago by someone in my church but I didn’t think there would be a demand for it. As soon as I decided to let go of some things, the idea came back around.
How about you? What new thing do you want to birth forth in this season? Drop a comment below and let me know! I may have some ideas or people who can help you.
Keep in mind, that drum therapy can really help you shift your mindset, your personal rhythm, and help you gain clarity and new ideas.
